Getting kids excited about healthy eating isn’t always easy, but interactive activities can make a big difference. That’s why I created these fun fruit dice.
This free printable craft allows kids to color, cut, and glue their own fruit-themed cubes. There are two designs to choose from, so kids can enjoy creating both or pick their favorite.
It’s a hands-on way to introduce fruits and make learning about them exciting. You can use it as a conversation starter about different types of fruits, their colors, and how they taste.
This simple activity offers a fun way to promote healthy choices while engaging kids in arts and crafts. Print, color, cut, and roll — it’s time to turn fruit learning into playtime.
Ideas for Using the Fruit Dice
- Fruit of the Day:
Roll the dice to pick a “fruit of the day.” Talk about it, draw it, or eat it together if you have it at home or in class. - Fruit Taste Test:
Use the dice to randomly select fruits to try. Kids can rate how much they like each fruit using smiley faces. - Story Time Fun:
Roll the dice and ask kids to tell a short story or fun fact about the fruit they rolled. - Color Sorting Game:
Challenge kids to roll the dice and name other foods or objects that match the fruit’s color. For example, if they roll a strawberry, they can name other red things.
